Surprised me to find this product unsatisfactory. I like the size of the circle, but the plunger was attached on one side not on the other and after a couple plunges it detached from both sides. Every single plant-based burger although great consistency, stuck. It would just be easier having any type of circle and hand pressing a burger into that for consistent size. The company was very gracious in returning my money immediately.

My family doesn't like frozen hamburgers as they are very picky eaters. Personally, I don't enjoy making hamburger patties because it can get quite messy. However, I came across the Koicarpe Burger Press - a 3.2-Inch Grill Burger Smasher Hamburger Patty Maker. This product is truly amazing and worth the price! I absolutely love it. It allows me to create perfect hamburger patties in seconds and is effortlessly easy and mess-free. It's a great product for the price! I also love the fact that it's made of stainless steel, which not only looks neat but is also dishwasher-friendly. It's so easy to use that even my little daughter can use it. Plus, I don't have to worry about measuring the meat as the thickness turns out just perfect.

I had been searching for a larger hamburger press for a LONG time and finally ran across this one. I measure out 1/2 lb hamburgers so I wanted the larger diameter. (It says 5.7" but it's really 5-1/4" inside diameter - but that was what I was looking for anyway!) Because of the large size, the disk that is pressing on the hamburger ball could cock a little and it would sometimes press a burger that was thicker on one side than the other. I remedied that by pressing on the disk itself on two opposing sides rather than the plunger knob. I could make a more uniform patty that way. No big deal. Then I DID use the plunger to expel the burger from the bottom of the press if needed. I had to make burgers for 10 and it really saved me a lot of time making the burger and saved my carpel tunnel ridden hands!And, no, it does NOT have the measurements on the inside ring as many have posted but who cares? If you use a somewhat measured amount of hamburger, you just press down hard until it stops. Note that a 1/2 lb of hamburger makes about a 1/2" thick patty at 5-1/4" diameter. Perfect for me!
