Love this mixer and the color is awesome. My only issue is that I bake my items with Truvia and Stevia and the mixer chugs trying to mix what I'm making since batters much heavier and thicker. But, the mixer is wonderful and works very well with regular baking items. Still love it even tho I bought it for the items I bake. A hand mixer cannot mix my items.

Item arrived in the manufacturers box only. The box has 5+ punctures & multiple tears. Multiple pieces of clear packing tape over many of the damaged spots. All corners tattered and torn. I did not open the box-due to the box condition I have serious doubts about the integrity of this expensive machine.This item was purchased throught 'The Knot' Bridal Registry which linked to Amazon. Shameful.The condition of the box makes this gift 'un-giftable' at a Bridal Shower, never mind if the machine even works after seeing the damage of the shipping box. Item returned unopened.

CAUTION: Watch what you get from Amazon and be careful to inspect. Amazon shipped an open box product that had obviously been returned by another customer. While it was unlikely that the mixer had been used, upon inspection I found that parts were missing. Rather than returning it I first tried contacting KitchenAid. They were extremely helpful and are shipping the missing parts. KitchenAid gets the five stars. The KitchenAid mixer gets the five stars. Amazon gets zero stars for sending out a product with missing parts that was previously returned by another customer.

I love to cook and to bake so have been coveting this for decades and finally gifted to myself - very easy to use and makes the cooking/baking adventure so much more fun. Should've bought years ago ;-)
