This product is EXACTLY what I was looking for: One button for communicating back and forth, an on/off switch, and an antenna that doesn't bend or swivel in any way. It requires batteries & is not a rechargable item. It is made of plastic and is durable enough for an eight or eighty year old. The functionality is super simple and easy to operate. Definitely kid friendly and handy, even for adults who are interested in a simple design that doesn't have a lot of stations to find and coordinate with the other device. I wasn't looking for a cheap product, just one that was affordable and easy on the wallet...And I found it!In the future, we may splurge on a different design, but for now, this product meets and exceeds all of my expectations for a fun, easy and convenient product to use for little hands and peace of mind for the family. When each of us is in a room at opposite ends of our home, it's better to use a walkie to communicate, than it is to yell and disturb everyone else.Which was perfect for what we were looking for. The sound is perfect and not too loud. The only problem is not actually a problem, and that is just simply teaching my youngster to remember how to hold down the button when speaking so that I can hear him properly.FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY FOR MY FAMILY!! Thank you for having a simple, enjoyable product available to purchase.

Works well and super fun for toddlers! One thing to consider is you have to use your pointer finger and my toddler seems to want to use his thumb. So the placement for that is not the best

I got these for my grandson. He loves to speak in them. We play with them in opposite rooms and up him pop up around the corner boooo still holding the mic. He laughs so much with these. Great gift for him and very inexpensive to play with your child.
