Posting review after 1 week of continuous review Unlike the other chalk holders in which the chalk slips inside, you won't find same issue here. The built quality is quite good. The grip is good and it's a different design. It doesnt causes pain in hands even after continuous use. I have taken continuous 8 hrs class with lots of big derivations and it was quite less strainful. The magnetic support is quite handy. It's good for dustless chalks like Apsara and Doms. Using this reduced the squeaking sound which usually comes with Doms chalks on older boards. However, the basic chalkpieces like Kores cannot be used as its inner grip will crush the chalk pieces.

They work OK. Best as long as chalk doesn't break though. Otherwise they're OK. But the spring button ones are still superior.

The holder has magnet in it. So it can stick to metal surfaces.One issue I faced is the holder doesn't hold the chalk tightly. So while writing the chalk keeps going inside.

Not too much to explain.....it holds the chalk so you don't get it all over your hands. We use it when we play darts as the scoreboards are done with chalk, and I wear black jeans a lot and now don't have to worry about getting chalk all over 'em. There's another product sold here that is a silver cylinder, and we tried that first, but it's spring loaded and the spring loosens up after a few uses and becomes useless.This one is a clip so it works MUCH better. Definitely worth the money for teachers or anyone that uses chalk and doesn't want your clothes to be the same color!
