Unfortunately this vest did not hold up well at all. First time using it, it literally fell apart. The part where the D-ring is tore off and it tore in another area. I have a 70 lb Lab. Definitely not an oversized lab by any means. I have returned this vest and will not buy again.

Pictures don’t really do it justice because the dog wouldn’t cooperate. Ordered the XXL size and am glad too. The jacket fit just right, with room for growth. My dog is just about 7-8 months old and hasn’t filled out yet. This dog is a really long dog, so the xxl vest was the right call. That said, my pup already weighs 100+lbs.The jacket itself is made with a lot of Velcro straps. You have opportunity for adjustment to loosen up or tighten up to fit just right. In between the top Velcro straps are the handle and D-ring for the leash.I would like to suggest that if you really need to control your dog with a leash, you really ought to use a collar. As strong as all the Velcro can be, a large dog highly motivated could break through the vest.On the negative side, this vest really isn’t much for warmth or keeping dry. But I guess it’s better than nothing at all.Positive about it, besides it looks really good. Not pictured, but the underneath side of the vest has another type of material sewed on it. This is to help with the rubbing into stuff.

I got this for my cane corso, Tom. He is about 115 lbs. This is a really nice vest. It's thick material and appears to be made very well. I got an XXL for Tom and it is too small :( The first picture is what it's supposed to look like and the 4th is what it looks like on Tom. So overall, a good quality vest, just too small.
