I installed three of these detectors and they worked out off the box. The sensors are easy to install when standing on a ladder, and the mounting housing is well designed. I would definitely buy them again.

I never could get this Wireless heat detector to lock in without giving me problems and troubles. I had to switch to a wireless smoke detector.

THIS IS ONLY A ONE-TIME USE ALARM!!! I got it all hooked up and tested it with a hair dryer like I have with other heat alarms for peace of mind. Only after I read near the end of the manual did I find that this does not work after tripping once. Would have been nice to have this on the box, or in the description, or SOMEWHERE other than the end of the manual!!! Very disappointed!
