I just received my kit First Impressions were extremely nice set for the money came in a really nice case custom cutouts in the foam I was impressed by that but I tried to use them today and I didn't give it much time because I was in a hurry but didn't have any luck with it I couldn't get it stripped now I did notice in the videos it looks like the wire has a little thicker insulation of what I use I use a lot of MC and I cannot get it to bite on any of the insulation now the wire is twisting tool to be well made and very functionable the whole kit seems well made but I just don't know if I haven't figured it out the right technique to strip the insulation

Ordered this set of wire strippers to see if I could get away from doing everything by hand. This wire stripper set did not come with an instruction and I had to go on the interwebs and trial-and-error my way through using this. This wire stripper is hit or miss on different gauges of wiring, I have tried to use the correct gauge insert on wires clearly marked for the gauge and this would not strip. Also, the strip depth stop does not have markings on it to tell you how much shielding is being stripped, which if you are working with existing install wire can be a problem if you are already short. If this included instructions and some fine tuning was accomplished with the inserts this could be a good set of tools.Overall, I am on the fence about recommending this set.

This wire stripping tool set is pretty useful for quick jobs. The different stripper heads make it easy to handle various cables. Plus, it feels well made and works smoothly. Ideal for anyone who does electrical work regularly.

There were no instructions but I'm an engineer. These did not strip wire. I was able to make an adjustment and step 3 test wires. Climbed the ladder and attempted to strip a wire and it would not strip. Went back to using my old school tools to save time and aggravation. I do not recommend this product.
