Just got this in the mail today haven't had a chance to use it yetBut right out of the box I noticed something strange. It had a piece of black tape covering the part number and when I removed the tape it was a different part number then what it said it was.

I found this tool to be way overpriced and did not perform as well as a $10 unit did for us. Too many adjustments, and it did a poor job on the cables I tried to prepare. Probably a product for someone who does hundreds of cables a day. Not for us. While we do a fair amount of coax cable, RG59 and R60, I could never get this to work as well as the cheap ones. It needs to be adjusted for every cable. To me it seemed like an overpriced, over engineered product that unless you literally do thousands of cables a day and all of the exact same batch (yes you need to adjust for the same type of cable from different batches) This product is really a turkey. I was looking for a coax stripper that had changeable blades and would self adjust for different batches and types of cables, not so with this device. Sent it back and bought 3 or 4 Klein automatic self adjusting strippers for under $10 each and am happy with them, they last about a year depending how good you are with them. We don't do enough coax cable to justify this golden turkey. I cannot see how it is worth what they sell it for. Finicky, does not live up to expectations, strips poorly, too many adjustments and no templates, difficult to use, makes a mess out of what was a simple job. A talented worker with a simple razor can do a more consistent job. Save your money there are better products. Sent it back.

My favorite coach stripper!!!! If you take the time to set it up correctly, it will strip VDM-230 (mini coax), RG-59 and RG-6.

Does it's job! Using it for Gepco VHD2000 with Kings ends. Takes some setting up, but once it's good, you don't have to tinker with it.
