Waste of my $109, it did not wok. Audio output Dolly atmos to my Sonos arc soundbar but failed to output video to an older 1080p tv. My advice is to avoid this one and look for the Corsahd 8k switch earc, the price is nearly the same but it works beautifully.

Bought this to connect my PS5 to a 144hz gaming monitor, and a Polk Mini soundbar (because the monitor only had stereo 3.5mm audio port). I was FINALLY able to enjoy high frame-rate gaming and the audio quality of Atmos and DTS, granted on a 3.1 soundbar, which did sound amazing.Setup was quick and easy. It's a small enough device to conceal, which is good because it will be a nest of wires.The bad stuff: It is always powered-on, no way to switch it off (had to use a power strip to kill power). It does not auto-switch between HDMI inputs, you'll need to resort to the small included remote for that, which is a pain and it is easy enough to lose.

This is a fairly decent HDMI 2.0 switch (2x1) and splitter (1x2) that's well-constructed with a metal shell. As the name implies, it can be used as a 2x1 switch or a 1x2 splitter but perhaps most importantly (as is for my particular use case) is its ability to add ARC/eARC capabilities to an existing TV that doesn't have one and it does by preserving (used loosely here) 7.1/5.1/2.1 audio dignals via EDID. It also supports HDCP bypass, downscaling (not sure why anyone would wanna do this but it's there should you need it), and a few others that you can read from the manual.Note that this is NOT your traditional 2x2 matrix switch nor does it claim to be but the '2 in 2 out' claim does create some sort of confusion for those who are familiar with the usual 2x2 matrix switch.≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a fairly decent HDMI 2.0 switch (2x1) and splitter (1x2) that's well built with a metal shell and it's quite versatile and well-performed given the circumstance. It's reasonably priced at $118 for what it provides and its overall build quality, features, usability, and performance.

I use apple tv (and maybe a xbox in the future) + sonos arc and sony vpl-xw5000. And this works perfectly for splitting the signals to hdmi and hdmi earc to my projector and sound bar. Then only challenge is the volume control part. But I resolved it by adding an IR setup to the apple tv remote controller and used apple tv controller with this IR setup as volume control to setup arc volume control.I spent a lot of time on figuring out the solution to make them work together. And it was said the arcana was the only solution, but that was too expensive. This product perfectly resolve my case and much cheaper.This product is
