Holes for screws did not align and chairs couldn't be leveled. Still waiting on refund as seller wanted me to pay return shipping for a defective product

I ordered new, received stools that had obviously been assembled and disassembled before. No directions were included. No allen wrench included. NOT HAPPY.Had we not broken down the box immediately, would have returned them immediately

They look very smart in our kitchen. Very comfortable. Please note; they must be assembled. There are 2 items I feel are necessary to know. The inserts in the back were too deep. We had to get different or longer screws. The angles of the cut in the legs were wrong. This caused one leg to split but not to the point of returning the stool. Due to this split, the stool may someday need to be repaired/glued. Not a big deal. If you are handy with tools and like to put things together, it is a fun project. For the money, I am happy. I have the knowledge and ability to fix or repair anything that may break on them. I would purchase again.
