Bought for my young grandson to use. Price point was good . He can make sounds ,which is half the battle - hopefully it sparks his interest as he gets older.

First thing to do, and this is essential before playing the horn, is to unscrew the valves and slowly turn them in their casings. Then, oil the valves while again turning them. They should now turn smoothly. Second, unscrew the valve cylinder end caps. If any are struck, use a wooden mallet to gently tap the edge of the cap. Repeat if necessary, but never use pliers! Oil the inside threds of the caps and carefully screw them on, but not too tight. You may have to turn the caps back and forth until they work smoothly. Prep accomplished. The valves should now move quickly and evenly. If so, you have a keeper, a very fine trumpet with an oversize diameter bell making this horn a real blaster if you want it to be.

Bought this trumpet for my 5th header as a student instrument, and although it had some bad reviews thought we would try it out anyhow. We can say it was well worth the money. It did have a small burr in it that caused the note to stick, but a skilled band teacher took a minute with it and got it working right as rain!! Here we are almost 5 months with the trumpet and it’s working perfectly!! The case is super durable and we would recommend this product to anyone, in fact we have to other students who wanted to try the trumpet next year!!
