It's lightweight but has too many access points for bugs. Had flies in 2-4 days. Perhaps this works if you take out the bag every day?

It is a great counter trash can the only thing lacking is the fact it is hard to place a little trash bag because it doesn’t have a ring to tuck the bag in it.

Es sencillamente tan funcional como elegante!, muy pràctico de utilizar por sus dos formas de apertura! Lo tengo en la encimera y no desprende olores ni se acercan insectos! Es genial

I bought this 4L version to replace a round compost can that had seen better days. I LOVE this can when used with the compostable bags (and boy! are they compostable!). The removable liner improves the ease of using the can. We keep our can on the floor although the supplied mounts look as they will work well. The only slight negative is that I wish it were a bit larger, at least 5 liters. (If it were larger, the bags would have to be bigger too.)

The container looks nice on my counter (it didn’t fit on the cabinet door - not enough clearance). It is pretty sturdy but with a compostable bag inserted, the lid doesn’t want to close tightly. However, I would buy this container again 😊.

I have this hanging in front of my kitchen sink with the adhesive hanger, it's great to keep fruit flies out and handy to keep the smelly food waste out of my large trash bin. It looks much nicer than the plastic options, I love the way the lid can lift up or slide down.My garbage disposal stopped working so this works great to scrape the dishes into before washing. I found a great deal on 1.2 gallon thick drawstring bags, which are still quite larger than the bin, but keep messy food waste from leaking into my large trash can.
