The fit is far from perfect. A budget case but with budget quality. Not tight at all. Back to the drawing board...!

There are way to many options of these cases. I did extensive research looking at the various models and different price range. Finally I picked the cheapest one, because all I wanted was something to protect the laptop. I really didn't care about fashion, or aesthetics. As long as it was a reasonably good fitment, I was going to be happy.This case is perfect! Nice matte finish and the seems where the two halves meets are perfect. I watched one review where the producers complained about it not being cut straight and it created a gap, etc. It was one of the less expensive models and I guessed this one would be comparable. Was I ever wrong! It's perfect! I really can't believe how well this cover fits and the quality of workmanship. The design is nice. I like the matte gray smokey finish. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It absolutely checks all the boxes. I feel it offers adequate protection, without being to bulky. It protects the corners, but all the ports are easily accessible. It literally took ten seconds to install. The fit it so perfect that it really didn't need any clips. The suction from the perfect fit will hold the cover in place, but it does have little overhanging clips that you can barely see. This cover is impressive, particularly for the price.

This case is well made and provides amazing protection. It was easy to unbox and install. Came with a cloth to help clean MacBook before you install.

Snapped on easily, and even had a helpful removable sticker on the lid part to show which way to put it on. Unboxing and getting it set up took maybe 2 minutes. Perfect! This provides solid protection without adding much weight.Of note, the lid cover does have a slight texture on the inside, so if you like to decorate your laptop with stickers, this case will make your stickers look slightly blurry. But it's a small price to pay for a lid that actually snaps on securely and protects your machine from scratches and scuffs.The case came packaged in a thin cardboard box, and fully vacuum-wrapped in plastic, so it was completely undamaged on arrival.
