What I like:+Has a nice feel. Cases I have purchased in the past have a weird, almost fuzzy feeling plastic texture. This is just a regular hard plastic shell+Lightweight, nicely see through to still show off the computer's beauty but decently protective. I don't see this protecting the computer from any sort of fall, but it feels protective against regular dings and scratches.+I ordered the clear/translucent and it looks exactly as pictured - completely clear with no frost (I dislike the frost look).+Great value for the money - it also comes with a keyboard protector to protect against dust and smudgy keys, as well as a trackpad film. The film takes some getting used to but ultimately, it fits precisely and protects without compromising functionality.+The keyboard cover (a really nice bonus) has a soft gray hue to it, and while you cannot see the actual keys underneath, the letters appear durable without smudging off. I also like that the keyboard cover leaves enough room for the touch key and speakers.Overall, a win

The hardshell case portion of this kit is good. The color is a bit dark for my tastes and while it shows up on the photos that you can still see the Apple logo through it that isn't the case. It is too opaque to really see through the slightly transparent material.As far as the fit it clips on tightly and stays in place without interfering with usability. I'd expect this would help protect against maybe a few drops, dents, and certainly abrasions to your beautiful Macbook's finish over time.What I'm not a fan of is the keyboard cover. It stays in place just fine, but deadens the overall sensation when doing a lot of typing. It doesn't really adhere or otherwise have any means to keep it in place so if you're doing a lot of spirited typing it can wrinkle up and get loose over time. Worse of all is that the Mac uses the gaps between the keys as a vent to help with cooling. When I ran benchmarks with the keyboard cover on and off my Mac started throttling a lot earlier than without as it was trapping hot air against the chassis. Given Mac Airs use passive cooling adding any level of blocking of those key gaps will cause heat sinking and throttling earlier in high demand situations.Given the added difficulty of typing with the cover and the heat sink issues I'd be just as content to get the case by itself without the added cost of the useless silicon keyboard cover.

a good laptop case for a reasonable price! it works and fits well. Note that there are small textured bumps similar to a carbon fiber but not exactly. More like a super fine basket weave. It does add some friction but I am not sure exactly how I feel about it to be honest. The quality does seem good though and the texture/pattern is really just a matter of preference.

The black case fits well. The plastic texture and opaqueness prevent the Apple logo from showing through. You may like this, but I prefer my other translucent smooth case that lets the logo show through yet in a subtle manner, which is perfect for me.The keyboard cover looks good in the day but prevents the backlit keys from showing through at night. Plus, it traps heat on my M2 MacBook Air, leading to potential CPU throttling sooner than without.
