Love this feeder. The app is convenient and works great and the camera feed is clear!! I love being able to see my kitty eat when I’m outside the house at work!! Highly recommends!!

Our cat doesn't eat much but we started looking into an automatic feeder so we can set a schedule for the late night / early morning.We looked at all the options available and this seemed to check all the boxesWe wanted something small (our cat doesn't eat much).We should be able to feed remotely via an appWe didn't really need the camera but for $20 extra, it's well worth it. When feeding remotely, it's a big plus to actually see our cat feeding. So I'd say the camera is a must for remote feedingYou can record a voice when it feeds. I'm also able to speak to my pet remotely. Probably a lot more useful for dogs, rather than cats.It was fairly easy to setup. In terms of durability, I don't know yet. I would have been willing to pay a little more if I found something that looked solid and more durable than this. But among all the options available, this would be the best in terms of price and durability. I found something twice the cost but didn't look like it was any more durable than thisThe app isn't the greatest. It's called iCam365 (you'd expect if to be called Frienhund). In any case, the setup was fairly straightforward. It's intuitive enough to use and has most of the features you'll need. You can view the camera anytime. You can set it up to get a notification when your pet comes over to feed, and/or when the feeder. You can set up a feeding schedule easily, and see the feeding historyThe only question mark right now is durability/longevity. Had it for just a week and no issues at all. If it lasts at least a full year without issues, it'll be worth it. If it doesn't last long, I'll update/edit this review to let others knowAFTER SALES SUPPORTOn the iCam365 app, there's a Help & feedback section where you can provide feedback or get support via a "New feedback" button. Was pleasantly surprised to have someone get back right away. And they were really helpful.

I have an overweight cat. So I decided to buy an automated feeding machine to help control that. It was super easy to set up. Had it for a couple weeks now works like a charm. I even get notifications when she’s being fed. At first I found she was still a little hungry, but it was so easy right on my phone to change the amount of food she was getting it really is a good product.

Despite what the reviews say on this model, it does NOT have an inbuilt camera. *sigh*Otherwise, delivery was very good (9 days from order to delivery in regional Victoria, Australia) and the device works well. Great instructions to set it up, which is handy. Easy to manual feed when held up and you are not getting home in time to feed the cat. Also easy to set-up a schedule for going away for any length of time. The 1 serve is small, which is great (with my previous model, 1 serve was too much and the birds would eat what the cat did not).I wanted one with a camera, so am frustrated at myself for paying attention to the reviews and not to the actual product listing.
