A couple of my older friends just want to hit with a paddle. We will play in a driveway. Easier because the net is not as long. Assembles easily.Racquets are a little lame.

Just got this over the weekend at a 1/2 discount from Amazon Warehouse (was supposed to be used, excellent condition). Unfortunately, it came with a broken weighted area (couldn't attach bottom string) and one paddle was missing a complete grip. (And they are strange paddles to be sure!)Fortunately, Amazon worked with me and I ended up keeping it (I knew the product because I had recently bought two others for family to introduce them to the game). I also got one of the grip tapes (purple if you must know) for racket sports to add to the paddle with the missing grip and that was good enough (had that laying around the house).Between that and being somewhat clever with tying the net down, I made it work enough for our purposes. The negatives people have written about are pretty well known: sturdiness (lack of); pretend paddles; ok ball (but really an ok minus); slightly droppy net; and not full width. The positives for me are as follows:1) Introduces people to the game with low bar to entry;2) Easy setup;3) Who cares if they break a paddle?;4) Good for skinny singles if you're waiting for a court to open (and you use either the Franklin Sports Pickleball Court Marker set, or something else similar) or masking tape to mark spots....;5) Even at full price, you've got a court to work on dink shots with a partner (with of course a real ball and paddles) which could be great for practice and or in the parking lot for tournies when there aren't courts available;6) It's portable. (I just need to find an old tent bag to keep it in) and lighter than the full size portable nets of which I have one (that one was a great price by the way, just under $60 as I recall);7) Great concept. This is key. Even if the set up is subpar, it's on the way to being useful. Either this company or some other one should be able to produce this better at half the cost. They'll have good margins for doing so for at least three reasons -- economies of scale; the product just doesn't cost that much to make regardless, and there are more players by the hour.Enjoy, and set your expectations accordingly and it should do you right: (practice, skinny singles, family introduction, tourni warmup, good travel buddy).

We got ours today and played for hours. Easy to set up and if you have a drive way, it’s perfect for practice and one on one games. We love it, incredible value. Paddles are worthless but who cares.

This isn't for Pickleball. It is just a small net. It is half sized and cheap. Paddles are worthless. Balls work well though...
