My 15 yo Radio Shack digital clamp on meter had recently decided it would not measure anything in the AC Range anymore which put me in a bit of a bind. I had my eyes on this meter for some time but couldn't justify the purchase. Dilemma solved! The new meter arrived overnight and I spent an hour putting it through it's paces. I used my Fluke 87 as a reference to see how well the DMC-100 tracked and I am happy to report they were very much in sync. The pamphlet that accompanies the meter is worthless, you have to figure out how to access the functions through trial and error. The temperature probe wasn't functioning either, but the DMC-100 accepted the probe from either the Radio Shack or the Fluke with good results. Figuring out what function key got you to the temperature reading was also a challenge (spoiler alert - it's the 2nd on the right) but I figured that out. The cool feature is waveform representation of AC / DC readings as well as split screen displays. Very cool. I recommend it!

Quality meter that was well thought out in design, and makes a great low cost investment for doing electrical and electronics testing....

No measurements from the clamp at all. I bought 2 thinking could be a faulty unit, all these chinese products are scam or never pass QAUPDATE!!!Customer service reach out me and asked me few questions about the product. After few days FNIRST sent me a new unit for free and came without issues. I did test every single feature and everything worked as expected. Product look and feel very professional, the readings are very accurate, clamp worked and measure both AC/DC very well, love this unit now. I would recommend it.

This is a great DM, the only con I see is the battery doesn't last long enough for me
