These batteries are just as good as dwalt but cheaper. They last and fit the dwalt drill and charger just fine. Came charged already. Can't go wrong.

I ordered this battery pack for my old Dewalt 18 volt drill and tools. This is a very nice quality replacement battery to revive my old Dewalt tools from the corner of the work bench. The original Dewalt DC9096 is way too expensive so the tools got set a side when the original batteries failed because of memory effect. The original batteries used plain NiCad batteries which suffer from memory effect while this replacement uses the newer NiMH Battery which does not suffer the same memory effects as the NiCad batteries did. So far it took a couple hours to fully charge the battery and now it has been drilling for several hour and has not run down yet. This battery is about the same weight as the original but has run much longer then the original battery, while providing a lot more power. Only time will tell if this battery will last as long or longer then the original Dewalt batteries did. I would order this again and will recommend it to others. This is a great deal, you get two batteries for about one fourth the price of one original Dewalt battery.

Not bad for the price. I can already tell after just first use that they're not going to last forever but not the price, certainly better than buying a new drill at this point.Edit: reduced from 5 stars to 3 stars after just one day of use. That's about all they're good for is 5 recharges and they start failing .EDIT: Reduced from 3 stars to 1 star. Three charges later one no longer accepts a charge. Lights don't even light up on charger. The other battery still accepts a charge but doesn't last long at all.

Great value pack. These batteries fit right into my tools and worked right out of the box. These batteries have some weight into them and it helps balance your power tool. Overall good quality and lots of power.
