My husband has a 40 year-old Black & Decker cordless drill with a rechargeable battery that would no longer charge. Otherwise, the drill is in great shape. Amazon to the rescue with a replacement battery! We were dubious about finding one for such an 'ancient' tool, but this battery fits the bill. It works with his model, GC1800, it charges to full power quickly, and it provides all the power necessary to restore life to the drill and at a good price. A lot of times, the battery costs so much that it makes more sense just to replace the tool, but our vintage Black & Decker will stay out of the landfill (for now) and continue to do its thing for many more years.

I recently purchased the MANUFER HPB18 replacement battery for my aging Black and Decker 18V tools, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. This is a nice replacement battery. Holds a decent charge. Works well. Fits many different power tools. Great price.

The newer Black and Decker tools are all lithium 20 volt or lithium 40 volt.Thankfully, this is a solution for the older 18 volt tools.Please remember these are Ni-Mh, which are different from lithium. They have memory - you can't let them go to zero, but you should wear them down pretty low before recharging.I opened it up to examine the cells and build quality. It's 15 cells at 1.2 volts each. It all adds up to the promised capacity.

This is a direct-fit replacement battery for my Black & Decker Firestorm drill. Good power, and a long-lasting charge. Well made, and comparable to my original Black & Decker branded battery. Good value for the money.
