The container is very solid and the lid attaches firmly and correctly. The foam insulation on the outside adds a nice touch in both keeping the temperature consistent and reducing condensation on the outside.The rack inside is easy to use for holding the product under water.Since there was no insulation on the bottom, we found that a double folded dish towel helped insulate the bottom and protect the counter top.

Bought for instant pot brand sous vide stick. I was a little skeptical at first that it would be large enough but it's the perfect size for 32oz Mason jars to stand up and the sous vide fits perfectly as well! The rack inside is reversible for keeping larger and smaller items submerged. Did not have to refill at all during the 6 hour periods I used it for. I noticed a lot of people complaining about the smell of the sleeve... That's what any neoprene that hasn't been unboxed happens to smell like. I aired mine out under a fan for a few hours and the smell dissipated greatly to the point of it not being a problem at all. This product is awesome and now I can sous vide my food with confidence!

Used a few times, and it holds its shape through heating and cooling.The lid hinge works as designed and the sleeve purchased with it is a good fit.The downside is I have an anova red and the model number matches that stated in the store. It does not have an easy fit.The lip around the outside on the container is too wide with the anova in it. The only way I can make it work, is: I have to Insert the anova in the lid, bring both down to the containe and tilt both back to get over the lip. You cannot with the Anova red put the lid on the container and expect to get the Anove to clear the outside lip.

The hole in the cover is too small for the MegaChef sous vide stick. The inside diameter is only 2 3/16 inches. I also ordered the version of this container with the silicone cover (KIT-1202-TYGJ) in order to compare which fit better, and I am happy to report that the silicone cover, because the opening is larger and because the silicone is flexible, will accommodate the MegaChef stick.
