I just received this the other day, so it's early days yet. However, I will come back & update. This little gadget is well made, convenient to carry, and brightly colored so it's more difficult to misplace. It comes with a wristband, charging cable that plugs into a USB port, and instructions. The wristband is a little hard to insert in the holes, but if you've ever put a wristband on a cellphone, you can do this too. You'll need to charge it straight out of the box, but mine apparently already a slight charge, because it only took about half an hour to reach 100%. There's an on/off switchon the side that's easy to use. Just push it in & hold it a few seconds until it lights up on the screen & you know it's on. There are + and - buttons to increase/decrease the intensity. There are 3 different functions & buttons. The top one is an ultrasonic sound that supposedly only dogs & certain other animals can hear. However, when I tested it, I could hear it. My 14-year-old daughter can also hear it and covers her ears when I use it with our border collie. We hear it as a very high-pitched sound. The middle button is a light that will make a handy flashlight during hurricane season. The instruction booklet says that you can use it as a strobe light effect, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. The bottom button emits an alarm like beep. All 3 of the settings remain on until you push them a second time. I've been using ultrasonic with my dog when she barks & immediately saying "hush" at the same time. She definitely responds to it immediately & cocks her head to the side. It stops her in her tracks & she looks at me. I've been doing this for 2 days now, & all I have to do is reach for it & she stops. It is consistently solved yet & will take time to extinguish the unwanted barking. Border Collies are highly intelligent & easily trained (usually), & her barking is a new behavior that started in the past year, so hopefully this will improve quickly. I'll definitely come back with an update. I've attached several pictures as I unboxed & charged it.

PROS:• Charges to 100% quickly and lasts for quite awhile on a full charge.• The different settings allow you to kick it into a higher gear in case the dogs don't react on the lowest setting (I've never needed to go beyond the lowest setting).• It works - as soon as I hit the button any yapping stops.• It gently beeps while it's emitting the high-pitched tone so you know whether or not it's being emitted.• I got the bright orange one, and it didn't take long for my dogs to associate me holding up the bright orange device = a high-pitched noise is coming soon, which usually means I don't even need to ever hit the button. The bright orange also makes it very easy to spot if you forgot where you last put it down.• It is available for a reasonable price.• The lanyard is nice for hanging it on the garage wall for the 99% of the time you're not using it.CONS:• Any product like this will affect all dogs in the area, and not just the ones who are misbehaving. If you have a single yapper and others who are behaving then collars with individual buttons may be a better option for you.VERDICT:Get one.
