I like that it's insulated and my hands don't freeze handling it when it contains ice cubes. Leak proof, too.

So many reasons why this is the best: screw-on lid is easy to put on and take off and silicone seal means there are no leaks; top of lid has a silicone sealed cap which also screws on and off; there are both Imperial and Metric measurement lines in the lid/cap; the entire shaker is double walled so your hands are insulated against the cold; it easily holds enough for two cocktails. Do not be deterred by the cost (admittedly higher than all others), as this shaker will become your go-to. It is extremely well made, and I anticipate it will last my lifetime.

Very well made and a really good size. Great for multiple espresso martinis. easy to clean. Bit expensive but no regrets.

This is an excellent cocktail shaker. I was a bit hesitant at first when I first looked at it. You want how much money for this???? Well, as many have said before "You get what you pay for." That could not be more true for this shaker. The first thing I like is that it feels great in my hand. I feel like I have a good solid grip and can really give it a good shake (Look out Ramos Gin Fizz. I'm coming for ya). The sizing is great. You can make one cocktail or up to four, depending on the amount of ingredients of course. The lid is also your ingredient measurer; very convenient. I love that it is vacuum insulated. First: My hand does not get cold while I am mixing. Not such a big deal if you are only making one drink. Very noticeable if you are making several drinks. Exceptionally important if you wife offer a hug and a kiss for making her favorite cocktail and she happens to be wearing a low back summer top. Just sayin. Second: The ice does not melt as much as you are shaking so you cocktail is not getting watered down. Third: You can mix up a batch of cocktails ahead of time and they stay perfectly cold while you wait for your guest to arrive. The top seals well so there are no leaks while shaking and even though it is double walled, you still get a pleasant shaking sound while you are making your cocktails. If there is any weakness to this product, it is the strainer under the top cap. If you are making a fruity cocktail that is using a lot of pulpy ingredients, it tends to pour very slowly so you may want to open it up and use a regular cocktail strainer. Overall, I think this is an excellent product that will last for a very long time.
