My experience when testing SWR loss I found that the wattage was cut in half. My 8 watt radio was at 4 watts and my 5 watt radio was at 2.5 watts. There was no gain or loss in SWR reading.

This device has one shared port and two semi-isolated ports. This makes it very useful to do A/B receive testing for two radios on one antenna. The pictures also seem to show that you can do two antennas and one transceiver, though I don't know what application this would have as things like phased arrays tend to use the coax for matching.Using a dummy load and an antenna analyzer, I can confirm that the output ports are isolated from one another, but both must have a proper 50 ohm load for things to be happy at the 50 ohm port.Don't let the -3dB be of a concern... Of course each side is going to have 3dB less as that is an equal split of the signal.
