C’est pas le meilleure , c’est cheap un peut mais ça fait la job. Ça pas la best tentions et la ptite roulette est pas parfaite pour ma chaînes, Mais ça fonctionne et je l’utilise depuis 30km déjà

Took it all apart wanted a better understanding how this single speed chain tensioner works. First thing I noticed is the cut in the retaining bolt for a c-clip but there was none to be found. With out the c-clip you will not be able to completely tighten the retaining bolt as it will cause the two arms to bind and the spring tensioner will fail to operate properly. .15 cent 15/32 c-clip and was back in action. I tried to use a c-clip from another chain tensioner but it kept hitting the part of the spring that pertrudes out the back side of the primary arm to the set wholes on the secondary hanger arm. With the c-clip installed and some Loctite I was able to successfully tighten the retaining bolt to the hanger arm with out any binding. I highly recommend using some type of thread locker on all the screws and bolts as they will wiggle lose eventually. There is a nice little gap between the two pieces but no play or wiggling. I had to use a different jockey wheel because of the narrow 11 speed chain I'm using and needed something with a little more teeth since I'm running a White Industries Dos ENO 16t/18t freewheel with a Rennen 37t front ring/sprocket. I'm on a 24x1.75 rear tire running 37/16 puts around 55 gear inches then I can switch over to 37/18 puts me around 49 gear inches. I also did a little filling on the dropout hanger as the cuts where a bit shallow for my liking so made the dropout notch deeper and thicker. If you don't pay attention to the placement you'll end up squishing what little cuts there are. The spring tension is adjustable with 360° of set wholes to play with. The spring is just OK and if you end up running it to tight and the rear end takes a good hit the spring will most likely fail. If your not into tinkering I would avoid this product all together as it requires way to much work to make sure it doesn't fall a part and works properly.

I picked up a Surrey bike that was rusting away on the California coast. And the parts are as much as car parts. So instead of purchasing their tires and rims for a thousand dollars, I modified it to use heavy duty bike wheels for 100 bucks. But in doing so I needed a this chain stabilizer to keep the chain on the sprockets. This works great but wish the spring was a bit stronger.

The mechanism not very good in that the sprung hinge is very loose and sloppy. The wheel is on a fitting that cannot be placed within an inch of the arm because a ~1" hexagonal section of the shaft prevents this making it rather useless for any close application - can't get it close enough to meet the chain in my case. On top of that the wheel binds for about 1/3 of it's rotation and takes effort to get it around. As a result I am returning this even though the vendor charges almost $7 to return it as I won't ever use it. It may be cheap but I would recommend spending a couple extra buck and getting a better quality tensioner.

Muy mala calidad y no cuenta con el tornillo adecuado para fijarlo al hanger, en general muy mal diseño y mala calidad, no lo recomiendo
