Product was well packaged and delivered in the specified time. Ice maker was super easy to clean and setup was very quick and easy. Has the option to make various sizes of ice but we find sticking to the biggest setting is best. Ice is made quickly and machine will turn off when ice bucket is full so no need to worry about over filling. I would suggest it be cleaned at least once a week to keep your ice nice and fresh tasting. Cleaning is very quick and easy so this is no problem.

Muy buena opción para hacer hielo en moderadas cantidades, las instrucciones dicen que se deben de dejar un par de ciclos previo a tomar los hielos que si son de consumo, llegó en buen estado y en el tiempo indicado

Seguí las instrucciones previas al primer uso y me aseguré de que la temperatura ambiente fuera la indicada.La máquina funcionó bien 1 día, el segundo día comenzó bien pero eventualmente dejó de hacer hielo poco a poco, en unas horas dejó de funcionar completamente y no es elegible para devolverla.Pérdida de dinero, no pensé que solo durará 1 dia.

To be honest, after having owned a restaurant and buying and using commercial ice makers, I really didn't have much expectations with these.The price was very inexpensive for what it promises to do so I went ahead and bit the bullet just to try it out. I've been using it for about 2-3 weeks straight now and I gotta say, I'm IMPRESSED!The unit is bulkier than what pictures may seem. But that's ok as I've got plenty of space for it. When they say it makes ice in as little as 6-7 minutes, it wasn't lying. However, the first batch isn't the greatest. Still, it was quite amazing. It's fairly loud when running, but tolerable. I would say it's quieter than most dishwasher for sure. I leave it running all the time. When the ice bin is full, I'd say it's enough ice for 2 tall glasses if filled up almost all the way. So it's not meant to produce ice for a party, but 3-4 people no problem. If you have kids too then they can wait another 20-30 minutes for theirs. You of course don't have to wait for the bin to fill up, so if you're in a hurry less than 10 minutes and you'd got another batch.You can choose small or large ice sizes. I prefer the large as it melts a lot slower. The ice maker itself doesn't have a water filter, but I'm glad it doesn't cause that'll be one more thing to upkeep. So I just use a Brita water filter pincher I keep in the fridge to fill it up. Filling it up is extremely easy as well, you just open the lid, lift the ice bin and pour water in. There is a MAX marked line that is very easy to see so you'd know never to overfill it. There is a red light that comes on when water is running low too, which is really useful because it's bright enough to see from far. Each fill produces quite a bit of ice so it's not something you'd have to do often. Also, I've tried it with water from the tap and the ice tastes amazing... using ice from the filtered pincher makes it taste PERFECT!! Also, speaking about the pincher I use to fill it, because I keep it in the fridge, it helps speed up the ice making process tremendously. I've never timed it to see how much faster it is, but I will say it's kept up easily with the ice usage in my household. So that's something I recommend.I haven't had it long enough to speak on it's longevity, but so far for the price and what it does it's been a SUPER awesome purchase!

Wer sich fragt wie ich auf die Idee gekommen bin mir im Winter eine Eiswürfelmaschine zu kaufen: das ist die beste Jahreszeit um sich die Sachen anzuschaffen, die dann im Sommer jeder haben will, und welche dann "unerklärlicherweise" plötzlich viel teurer sind. Ventilatoren, Grills, das übliche...Jetzt aber zum Gerät selber: Als das Paket ankam, war ich ziemlich überrascht wie schwer das Ding ist! Nach dem Auspacken konnte ich dann durch die Lüftungsschlitze aber sehen, warum das so ist: da ist ein amtlicher Kühlkompressor drin, der auch eines großen Kühlschrankes würdig wäre. Das erklärt dann auch, warum das Ding so fix Eiswürfel zaubern kann... pure Leistung!Nach dem Auspacken habe ich es erstmal (wie überall drauf hingewiesen) ein paar Stunden waagerecht stehen lassen, damit sich die Kühlflüssigkeit setzen kann, dann angeschlossen, Wasser eingefüllt und eingeschaltet. Durch das Fenster in der Klappe auf der Oberseite kann man gut den Arbeitsablauf des Geräts beobachten (oder wenn einen das nicht so interessiert auch einfach nachschauen wieviele Eiswürfel schon/noch im Korb liegen), und schon nach dem ersten kompletten Durchlauf hat man verstanden wie das alles funktioniert, und welche Geräusche was bedeuten. Ja, es ist nicht so lautlos wie die Eiswürfelform im Tiefkühlfach, aber auch nicht besonders laut - der Kühlkompressor hat/braucht eben selber auch eine anständige Kühlung.Ist das Gerät einmal eingeschaltet, produziert es am laufenden Band (und tatsächlich alle 8-10 Minuten) die versprochenen 9 Eiswürfel. Okay, es sind keine Eiswürfel, sondern eher "Eiskuppen", also von der Form her so wie ein (sehr großer) Fingerhut, aber das kommt halt vom Funktionsprinzip der Maschine. Diese 9 Stück reichen locker für 3 Drinks, und mehr als 3 Drinks in 10 Minuten ist auf Dauer ungesund, hab ich mal irgendwo gehört ;-)Zusammengefasst ist das Gerät also nicht nur eine super Lösung für den Sommer zuhause, wenn man unregelmäßig über den Tag verteilt ein paar Eiswürfel im Getränk haben will, sondern auch absolut geeignet um auf einer Party einen konstanten Nachschub an Eiswürfel zu haben - denn in den Korb passt schon eine Menge rein, und das mit Isolierschaum gefüllte Gehäuse sorgt dafür, dass diese nicht direkt wieder schmelzen. (Aber selbst wenn sie irgendwann schmelzen, tropft das Wasser wieder direkt in den Wassertank, und es können neue Eiswürfel daraus gemacht werden.)Alles in allem, also auch wenn es einiges wiegt und nicht gerade handlich ist, ein echt tolles Gerät. Von mir aus könnte der Sommer dann jetzt kommen.
