Edit: 7/7/24I am changing my rating due to the seller reaching out and offering a refund due to my experience. They DID NOT ask me to change my review or delete my response. I feel this was handled as excellent customer service simply by making sure that as a customer I was satisfied with their product or experience. Again, I feel the packaging was great, and the presentation was amazing, it just wasn’t for me as a beginner. I appreciated the customer service more so than anything,Original review:I was looking for an alternate begginers kit for my daughter and I to do together. I watched the tutorial and tried to follow the book but no hope. I ended up on TikTok trying to learn but it didn’t help me figure out this product. The yarn also separates easily and gets shredded. Super frustrating when trying to loop. I wouldn’t recommend this as a beginners project. It would be good for someone experienced. Came packaged nicely and at a good price with instructions and everything you need. Just didn’t meet my expectations.

Instructions not clear for a literal beginner. I had to Google other instructional videos. However, I completed one 🐝 and it turned out very good. Plus I love bees.

The pattern is hard to learn, not for beginners. However, the yarn 🧶 quality is soft and fun to work with when u have upgraded your skill. The kit is nice.

I saw reviews saying this wasn’t really beginner but I thought I could do it. I did, but with tons of trial and error. First off the kit came with everything I needed, and had it was all good quality. It’s stuff you’d buy separately to crochet too, not just cheap stuff a lot of kits include. This may be beginner for this style of crochet but it’s not really a beginner crochet project. Everything you’ll work with is very small. The videos are really good and helpful but it’s impossible to explain every nuance to beginners. So there were a lot of very simple assumed things that I didn’t know such as tightening a slip stitch, that the first crochet goes into the same hole as the slip stitch, and even things like the yarn getting separated if I yarned over in one direction vs another.All in all I’m glad I did it, it was a crash course in crochet but I am ready for any project now after doing this! I also love that I know how to read patterns now.
