Best feature is it combines HDMI and USB cables until it splits on the PC side, simplifies cabling. The blue lights bleed a little, lighted numbers would be better, but no other complaints.

Good little KVM but, I do have one complaint, there's no lights to indicate which inputs are active. The button lights blue to show which you have selected but, there's no indications of which machines are on or connected. Very annoying.Still, for the price, totally worth the money.

This states KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) that can be shared between 8 computers. It is true, there are 8 ports in and 1 port out for Video, there are no ports to plug in a keyboard and mouse (there are 4 USB ports all marked USB IN).Since there are 8 HDMI ports, I thought: If I can't get all peripherals to work, then why not just have video? Plugging/unplugging will be a pain, and defeats the entire purpose of getting this; but can I salvage SOMETHING from this cost? The answer is NO. None of the included HDMI cables work; none of the ports work in the device and the monitor does not even register any input; and yet when connected directly to the computer, it works. The manual is 3 pages in 5 different languages (English, German, Spanish, Itallian, French):- Page 1: Packing contents- Page 2: 1/2 is 5 steps, then the beginning of troubleshooting- Page 3: TroubleshootingI only know (American) English and (Parisian) French. There is a lot LESS information in the French section than the English. Since it does not come with a schematic diagram, this isn't very helpful. Each cable included comes with a 8 inch long USB extension. This is too short to plug into any of my computers. I am assuming it would be splitting some kind of signal being passed from the HDMI cable; however, since all of the USB ports say USB IN, where the bloody hell are you supposed to connect them?Since the 1 foot cable is too short to connect, how am I even supposed to use it, assuming I COULD connect it?Support? There is no support. No email/phone number/address in the manual. No way to contact them through their shop page either.I now have a very expensive paperweight.

This is a good product, it does what is says it is supposed to do, my Linux computer has a problem switching sometimes but I think that is a function of the Linux, or the computer it is on. I did have one failure, one of the 8 cables has failed, and I know that they are special as these HDMI/USB combined cables do not work with my other switch, and those cables that came with the other switch do not work on this switch, where can I get spare cables?
