If you are interested in doing some blindfold training to hopefully improve your visualisation and calculation skills, then this is an absolutely fantastic book. Unlike another book I tried, this one moves you through a slow progression of five exercises per day that build on each other in a manner so pleasing I can't help but assume this is proper training material that has been tested and used on many students over a period of time. For example you will encounter essentially the same position in two or three puzzles - with only a few pieces moved around. This makes it easy to reinforce what you've already visualized, while taking account of the differences and really thinking about the new solution.What you will not find are jumps in difficulty so sudden that you get discouraged and go looking for a new book. An example would be moving from back rank mates to mates in the middle of an open board with a 'study-like' difficulty that is hard to spot even over the board. This was my experience with another book that shall not be named.So far I am very impressed with this book and rate it as five stars without any reservations at all.

De très nombreux exercices progressifs pour apprendre à imaginer (visualiser) des positions, ouvertures, calculs...Pas si facile

I''ve only completed the first 80 exercises and am already seeing way more benefits than I would have had I just spent my time on openings or regular tactics like I normally did

Los 750 ejercicios de este volumen-que deben ser resueltos sin piezas o tablero- le ayudarán a mejorar su cálculo y visualización del tablero en general. Hay 3 níveles de dificultad y los puzzles están numerados según los que deba resolver en una sesión. Su autor se basa en las investigaciones cognitivas de la psicología ajedrecística. Muy recomendado.
