I use mine for a livescope mount and it works great so far, holds up to the elements as well.

I needed this overall design to support a small auxiliary work table disconnected from my primary work table to keep it steady and this unit is working well for the $ spent. ALl components and design seem to be appropriate.

The clamp that clamps your top-tube or seat post is difficult to manipulate. I should have noticed this from the pictures, but the plastic knobs are not easy to tighten. I have another similar bike holder that uses a butterfly nut and a lever clamp and that's a lot easier to use. I found this one often slipping if you didn't have the bike correctly balanced, which isn't always easy. Even taking one of the wheels off was enough to cause the whole thing to rotate.
