I've been needing a bike stand for awhile, and this one looked pretty decent. I particularly like that it folds up for more convenient storage, as it would take up a bit of room in the garage otherwise (and our space is limited). I was concerned that as a folding stand it might not be as sturdy as I would like, but when I got it I found it to be a fairly robust stand. The biggest item to watch is making certain the lock on the collar that holds the legs down is quite tight, or otherwise the legs will gradually start to fold. It would be nice to have a latch to lock the legs in place. This stand has a lot of nice features, and basically uses bike quick-release skewers for anything that needs to be adjusted. It will telescope vertically and rotate in two directions for convenient access to almost anything on your bike.As for areas of improvement: the instructions could be greatly improved. Definitely watch the video on the Amazon page as it will save some time trying to figure out a few things that are not shown in the instructions (like how to move the tab in the back of the bike clamp to unlock it for rotation, and where the skewer goes for attaching the bike clamp to the post). And I had the pin going through the skewer handle holding the clamp assembly break in normal use (one head of the pin broke off; I was still able to use it as is, but I will probably replace it with a bolt at some point). Outside of those issues, I found this unit really makes bike maintenance much easier.

I got this bike repair stand to use with my mountain bike and it works very well. The instructions that are included in the package are not very good but the assembly video on the product page really helped and once I watched the video it only took a few minutes to assemble. Overall it's a good repair stand and seems very stable and easily held the weight of my bike. I really like the quick release clamp and telescoping arm to easily adjust the height and the rotating head allows you to adjust the clamp angle a full 360 degrees. The unit is also foldable and easy to store when not in use.
