I like the idea of this, and I think it's designed pretty well. The entire unit is essentially two halves that slide with a stop and there is an internal spring to help it snap fully open or fully closed depending on where you hold it. Despite the top of the plastic being quite smooth and only two little ridges for grip it does open without too much fuss.The big button is easy to press and the click is loud enough to be heard from a fair distance. The underside of the top half has a little compartment for a tiny desiccant patch (three are included) which I guess may help any treats inside from going stale quite as quickly. I suspect it won't do much, but that space isn't being used anyway so it doesn't really hurt.The sliding treat tray goes the entire length of the clicker although it's not enormous - I was able to fill a bit over 1/8 of a cup of training treats, and the size makes them seem much larger than they actually are.The included wrist strap is quite nice, at least, with an adjustable toggle and pre-attached loop you then clip the strap onto. Plastic is maybe a bit on the thin side but unless you're dropping it repeatedly on concrete I don't see it being an issue, and the actual mechanics of the slide and the button both feel great.

This arrived really nicely boxed, would make a great gift. I am pretty impressed with the clicker. It's a neat idea for people new to using clicker training or people like me who are slow getting the treat to my dogs after clicking. I found it comfortable to hold in my hand, but the size may not work for everyone. I do wish that the surface was a bit more grippy, some rubber tabs, or a rougher surface. The click has a nice sound, the treat tray slides open easily. It holds treats in the full length not just in the visible part when opened. I used it as a dispenser, click and then let my dog nibble the treats in the cup. Easier for me than holding a treat in one hand and the clicker in the other. Silly thing, but I appreciate that the tether hole is already threaded with a placeholder loop for the tether, I always have a hell of a time threading them. There are desiccant strips included to keep treats fresh, I won't use them as the clicker doesn't hold enough treats for me to store any. The company offers replacements, as well as a variety of flavours of tiny treats to be used with the clicker.

We've been using this on our puppy, who is just under 6 months old, since getting it, and it's really helping train for sitting, taking treats nicely, and coming inside after playtime in the yard. The other dogs seem to listen, too, but this is primarily for our puppy and so far it's doing as expected.Losing one star, since there's no instructions (I know, it's just a clicker), but it wasn't obvious as to how you actually opened the clicker to put treats in - do you pull apart, or slide open? Turns out the latter, but just having some minor instructions to that effect would have helped. :)

This is an awesome clicker! The compartment is small enough for bits of chicken and the lanyard is a great touch. I've been using this for my aussie and he adapted very quickly! The size also makes it harder to lose, which is a problem I've had with other products. Definitely 5 stars from me and I will be recommending this product to my dog owner friends
