It is light weight and made of cotton. It will keep you from getting too sweaty during the summer time but provide the warmth you need in the fall and winter.

I bought one for my 4 year old and 2 for my twin two year olds. These gowns are great quality, soft and well made. I went up a size just because my girls are taller for their ages and they have a little room to grow but still fit good. My oldest loves how soft they are. Will definitely order more maybe if a different print.

Got this for my 6yo daughter. 54" tall and 63lbs. We live in SW Florida. It is hot and humid and my daughter is VERY sensitive to fabric. This is her favorite sleep shirt..Size Medium fits well; comfortable, but fitted. If you like a loose sleep shirt, size up +1. My daughter loves the soft, breathable fabric and the pretty hibiscus print. This is a favorite. I love the quality of the fabric. We've worn and washed at least a dozen times and this nightshirt hold its shape and color.

This is a great nightgown. It fits as expected( does hit below the knees). It is very soft, washes and dries just as soft. It is difficult to find toddler nightgowns that are cotton, w/o flame retardant chemicals, and w/o characters all over them. I recommend it !!!
