With a bit of a silky feel to it. Material is very soft. Fit is true to size. Good little gown for hot spring and summer nights. Washed and dried with no shrinkage or issues. Well made. Looks adorable on.

I have one girl (and 4 boys.) It's kind of a fun thing for her (and me!) to get her some unique girly things for her to wear. One of those pieces are nightgowns for pajamas. We've been through a number of them over the years (she's 8.) We're always looking for ones that are not see through, modest top, long enough (she's tall for her age), comfortable, cute, and durable. Ordering this nightgown, she and I both loved the design, but my biggest concern was that it wouldn't last. I am so glad that I was wrong. It has been washed and worn many, many times, and I have had no issues with pilling or tearing (or any other kind of wear.). The elastic has held up really well, bow stays on, etc. My daughter is wearing 10/12 for most tops and dresses so that was the size I ordered. It fits perfectly. It's not too low in the top and the sleeves are just right. As I mentioned before, my daughter is tall for her age so we've run into a number of nightgowns that are too wide when they're long enough for her and then being too short when they fit. This nightgown is the perfect length. It hits the middle of her calves so it's not too long for her to feel comfortable in. She loves wearing it so it has to be comfortable because she loves comfortable clothes. It's not sheer. I'll be ordering her another one if we need any more. (I should also add it hasn't been babied in any way in the wash- normal wash and dry.)

My daughter loves it - it is cute and fits her well, she is 3.5 even though I got quite a few sizes larger, however I can see from the design that this will fit for years to come.
