I do like and use these bulbs in some old overhead fixtures in my garage when its " Playtime". All my friends and neighbors enjoy coming over and listening to music and hanging out from time to time. The lighting in my shop/ detached garage makes a great atmosphere for socializing. I bought two of these bulbs on my last order, I screwed the first one in and it worked for about 5 seconds and blew. Thank goodness I purchased two. I wonder if they would replace one that went out so quickly?

No sé si fue mi mala suerte o la lámpara es de mala calidad compré dos piezas y una me duró solo una semana con entre 4 o 5 hrs de uso diario. 😩

I bought them to fit into the new ceiling fixture (shown in photo). With a regular bulb you couldn't see the nice light displayed on the ceiling through the holes in the fixture.100w provides ok light. Not quite bright enough when used inside this fixture which covers most of the bulb. It works on a dimmer well. ...and the cool ceiling display without blinding yourself when you look up!

Love it, we use if over our dining table so no glare in our eyes. Bright enough to do homework or projects under.

We have a very small, dark, nine door hallway with an eight foot ceiling and in the exact middle is the light fixture. This fixture is about 29inches from a doorway that swing in toward the middle of the hallway. This unusual hallway is almost always dark bc of the layout/arrangement. Using this light bulb that shines upwards has given the needed illumination without the glare directly down in the eyes of the person using the hallway. Expensive bulb yes and worth it!
