As you can see in the pictures, the bulb coils have a really nice look to them. The company shows a number of different coil styles, but these are consistent with the first image in their advertisement. If you look through their photos, some bulbs look clear and others have a more antique brown to them. The bulb seems to look a little more opaque in the photos from the company. They’re not quite clear and they do give off a nice warm hue. It also does have a bit of a glare if you’re looking at it directly or it’s not on a dimmer. Either way, it's a matter of what you're looking for. This went really nicely with the style we were going for.Do be aware that the bulb does heat up a bit, so you’ll have to consider what kind of fixture you put it in. They are 60 watts, with the standard E26 base so they should do well in most settings.

I have a rental - when I moved in all the lights were the ‘daylight’ bulbs that are incredibly bright and cool toned. I needed to replace them. I bought these for my bathroom - when I used only these bulbs it was a bit orange and not great lighting to do makeup. I settled on using some of the original daylight bulbs and some of these warm Edison bulbs. They turned out great. I think using one for a lamp would be great- but as overhead lighting with only these bulbs in a small space was too orange for me. The bulbs are beautiful though!
