Excelente producto trabaja muy bien solo que no trabaja si un toner se le terminó

Un excelente producto, fácil instalación, no necesita que descargues drivers automáticamente se instala en la computadora así como la configuración de la misma imprime dúplex sencillo tarda un poco en procesar pero una vez comenzando a imprimir no hay ningún tipo de pausa y la velocidad es bastante buena.

No encuentro cartuchos originales brother para esta impresora. Compré otros compatibles y no tienen buena calidad. En donde puedo encontrar los originales de alto rendimiento?

Es una impresora que funciona perfectamente, se puede configurar para ahorrar toner al máximo, los toners son un poco caros pero sabiendo utilizarla y configurarla es muy buena. La calidad de impresión es perfecta.

Hace muchos años tuve malas experiencias con impresores de tinta y LASER (tanto a color como blanco/negro) de varias marcas, hasta que me hice de una Brother LASER blanco/negro, con la cual tengo al menos 8 años con ella, por lo que me "casé" con esta marca. Y bien, quise escalar a imprimir a color, y no dudé en hacerme de esta impresora, y estoy por demás contento. Calidad LASER a color, no es mucho mas grande que la Brother que estoy reemplazando; menos, mucho menos ruidosa que mi anterior Brother. La instalación solo fue echarle una ojeada al manual (actualmente poner a funcionar estos equipos es cosa de niños), retirar los flejes y seguros de cada uno de los 4 toner, y solo fue un tanto "complicado" conectarla a la red wifi, dos intentos en automático sin éxito, por lo que la conexión la hice manual, y todo quedó listo. El proceso no me llevó mas de 20 minutos desde sacarla de la caja y ponerla a funcionar, imprimiendo desde mi laptop y mi teléfono móvil, y realizando una actualización del firmware. Finalmente, y una vez comprobado que todo estuviera 0k, le retiré varias etiquetas que tenia pegadas en la parte frontal.

I had a very large Brother Color Laser Printer for more than 10 years. Unfortunately, Brother did not keep making good drivers for more modern computers. I was having a lot of trouble trying to get it to do simple things like printing from the manual feeder. So, for my birthday, I asked my husband for a new Brother color printer with wifi printing capabilities (works with phones and iPads) that would work with my more current MAC computer. It is an LED printer which I guess is not the Laser Printer of old. The print quality is good. Not quite as crisp but since this new printer has current network capabilities and is less bulky, the print quality is good enough. I am dreading when the color toner cartridges need to be replaced because they are expensive but luckily I don't do tons of printing. Very happy with this printer.

I'm replacing my older brother color laser printer, which has to be 10 years old now. This new model unboxed like a dream. Upon opening the box the first component you come to is the power cord - taped on top so you don't have to go digging for it. The printer just has foam corners around it, and the printer itself is in a lift out plastic bag with handles to make getting it out of the box easy. It's 2 inches smaller overall than my old unit an HL-3170CDW and a couple of pounds lighter. Removed all the tape and retaining papers inside ( note there is one in the paper tray too with an absorbent packet) plugged it in. Set up the wifi and I was printing in a couple of minutes. I got this for making labels for my small business, and it prints on 8.5x11 sticker paper both matte and waterproof without issues. The face side of the paper is upside down in the paper tray just like my older unit. For awhile I was thinking it was our router that was going out, because my old printer will take 5 minutes to spool one page ( in the same room with the router so I think the printer is done for now) but this new one is FAST! I was shocked when I already had a print coming out and I just sent it. This is going to seriously improve my work flow. I'm a Linux user and the software driver installed easily on my older mint 20 laptop that I keep in the shop for convenience. No issues with sending a multi copy document either. I didn't have to go searching for a driver which was nice it was already in the Linux database. Print quality is on par with my older unit as expected, since I print full color labels with white text.

Initial thoughts:-setup: very easy. Had to pull out each toner cartridge to break off some tabs that helds things still for shipping, and pull out some plastic; took about 5 mins without needing to look at instructions. I did look at them later and it was straightforward.-size/weight: a lot heavier than I expected, but its the same size at it looks.-add to wifi: you can run a setup and connect to the printer from your PC or phone and use that to change the wifi on your printer, or you can add it manually via the small one line LCD screen. I did it this way; it will definitely be painful for anyone with crazy long passwords with extra symbols like me. It was easy, just a lot of hitting the down-arrow icon looking for next character. But it added immediately, and was available immediately for search from my PC.-printing: it prints fast and its very quiet, Enough so that when I print to it (its directly behind my wife's desk) she doesn't notice. You can definitely hear it, but its quiet enough to blend in to background noise.-print quality: documents look sharp, icons etc look good both in color and black and white-print quality, photos: used some laserjet photo paper and printed out a picture: I'll put it in the 'good enough for a postcard or to send your mom her annual family pic to frame'. Definitely not the color sharpness/brightness you'd get from CVS, but not expecting that, either. We will likely use it for our next party invite instead of going to UPS store to print.-mobile printing; TBD, haven't tried-duplex printing: TBD, haven't tried-toner life: we probably won't need new toner for 6+ months and I'll try to update then.Overall, it does everything I expect it to at the level I expected.If you need a general/workhorse printer capable of printing anything at a reasonably decent level- this is likely the printer for you.If you are looking to print pictures to frame; get a color inkjet. Or just keep printing @ CVS which is likely cheaper anyway.

La impresora nueva, funciona muy bien. Trabajo en casa en proyectos editoriales y necesito mucha precisión en la impresión más que en el color. La impresora es silenciosa. Funciona bien en B/N y en color perfecto. No es una impresora veloz pero una vez lanzada la impresión va a buen ritmo. Imprime F/V pero esa opción se puede desactivar en la ventána de dialogo de impresión.
