This is a top quality bit that that makes top quality cuts. A bit pricey but you can tell at first glance looking at my pics that no short cuts are taken in it manufacturing. Does a great job and I fully expect to get a lot of mileage out of it based on its looks and performance so far.Being a down cut bit know that the top face will get the cleaner cut as the bit pulls the material out at the bottom. This of course when using a handheld router and just the opposite mounted in a table. Also just to try and help save confusion this would usually be considered a bottom bearing bit even though the Amazon description shows top bearing.. I used their link to let them know but they seem to be content with calling it a top bearing since it's at the top of their picture I guess although it's at the bottom of the bit. See the picture illustration in my pics. Either way a spiral cut bit seems to always outrun and out cut a straight flute bit, this is definitely the way to go.Top quality bit and easy to recommend.

I use this to trim off what is left of tabs or uncut veneer or wood fibers from the bottom edges of CNC parts. It shears up and leaves a clean bottom edge that upcut versions weren't that good for. Joyous to use. Effective and easily worth it's price.

This router bit does everything it is supposed to do. It produces a very clean cut and cuts with minimal effort. My first use of the bit was notching drawers for under-mount slides. I was able to quickly get through my pile of work using this bit and a simple jig. This was much faster than my previous method and produced better results. The price is comparable to other quality bits so the value is there. 5 stars.

If you're using a hand held router and you want to make sure that the top edge, the one facing you, has a clean cut, try a down cut trim router. This will not only make sure that the edge has a clean uniform cut on it but the top edge will be a clean cut as well. It pushes the fiber of the board downward as opposed to upward or to the side. It has 1/4 inch shank and is made of carbide so it's a high quality bit. The bearing rolled smoothly across the edge and I think is a great quality bit. I've had other router bits from this company before and they've been good as well. I like it.

I own a few bits from Sharpro and have always been happy with them. This one is no exception. Clean cuts free from tearout, smooth bearing, and a tough coating. It's probably considered pricey by some, but it's very high quality and will last 3x longer than bits half the price.
