I really wanted to love this unit. REALLY. It's sleek looking, has multiple channels, has a really nice charging case...what's not to like? Well, for me, its the reliability. For no particular reason, the guitar transmitter works on it's own time. Yes, its fully charged. It will light up and then go dark...rebooting maybe? Usually though, it comes on and stays on or it JUST DOESN'T POWER UP AT ALL. Never during practice or at home. It's only ever happen to me when I need it. I've had 3 gigs where during soundcheck I'm the guy fumbling through a bag trying to find a cable and cussing #$$%@ because my wireless won't work. There goes our stage show...So I went to the Boss WL-50 and haven't looked back...

The BrianFay Monitor Wireless Lollipop is a game-changer for anyone needing reliable, continuous monitoring. This device stands out with its rechargeable charging case, which can power the monitor for up to 30 hours on a single charge. The convenience of this feature cannot be overstated, as it allows for extensive usage without the frequent need for recharging. Additionally, the wireless design means you can set it up anywhere without worrying about cords or outlets. It's perfect for monitoring various environments efficiently. I'm thoroughly impressed by its performance and endurance, making it deserving of a full five stars.

They work great so far but I wouldn’t gig with them. The receiver will randomly start flashing all the channel lights which tells me the selector button is sketchy. Very lightweight and seem like they would not last very long. The manufacturer reached out to me to make sure I was completely satisfied, and I am. They went above and beyond to make sure I got a quality product. Very happy with this product. Only time will tell if it’s for the long term.

I have been into the wireless instrument adapter units for about six years now. I remember the time when a wireless device required a box to be worn on the hip. I am happy to see many types of affordable options out there now that has brought an older technology into a truly ergonomic era. Now everyone can afford a wireless system, and not have to borrow one for a live show or have to sit through a guitar teacher type, who boasts about theirs to the point of annoyance. The trick is finding how low you should go with the affordable label because as i have learned if you drop down too low such as in the fifty dollar range, there will be a lot of potential problems. There are ways to find a good unit for around seventy dollars to about a hundred. I have watched friends use variations of the hundred dollar unit and still are using them years later. One of the main brands i have been keeping an eye on is the Brian Faye brand. Not only do i own an older model of the lollipop style unit, i have also played music with certain local people who i have turned on to this affordable and reliable brand. This new lollipop style unit from this brand is another sure fire winner. The only complaint about this is almost too obvious in that if you have an open mind there really is no problem. I am referring of course to the stick or lollipop style design. It is perfect for instruments such as the most common being an electric bass or guitar; as long as the quarter in port i in the middle or back of the main body of the instrument.I say that in a way that eliminates valid complaints because i use this mainly with a bass as well as a guitar that has the quarter inch port on the edge. I have watched videos where people complain about that as if it were a product defect or ridiculous design. I argue that not only does it not bother me because i have learned to watch out so as to not clip the thing off; it also is a tool for attention and discipline.Just like i love vinyl records because of the discipline in having to pay attention to each track, then flip the record over along with being able to appreciate the album art; i feel the same way with fragile pieces of equipment like this stick unit, when used with a quarter inch port that is inconveniently located for this kind of device.I am 100 percent happy with the range, charging time and longevity of the charge. I even love the slick shiny and solid black design. The protective case that comes with it is even cool looking.I feel confident in giving this a five star rating because it is the best deal out there for range and clarity. I always record everything i do so i can say for sure this thing sounds great. I know there are other units from this brand that have 3.5 ends or attachments that can work with other common instruments but i have used this on with a 3.5 adapter piece for a direct connection to a sampler that doubles as a multi effect pedal so this works just fine with other instruments.A neat side observation i noticed is this unit allows on of my guitars to be able to work with certain pedals that with a traditional cable does not work. That is most likely related to the pickups in the guitar but for some reason it always works with this stick system. To conclude, i am happy with this and recommend it for anyone looking for the best bang for their buck, in relation to a wireless rechargeable system.

I have no idea who Brian Fay may be, but I have been happily using this brand of guitar remotes for a couple of years. They are sturdy, reliable, and economical. This one is identical to the ones I already had, other than the fact that it comes with a 5,000 mAh battery in the charging case. This is a huge advantage when I’m on the go, since it’s not always easy to get to a plug-in charger between gigs.I’m a professional musician, and in my experience these Brian Fay wireless systems perform fantastically well. They have five discrete channels, and I have used five of them at once on different instruments played simultaneously by five different band members. We have never experienced the least bit of crossover or interference. To test this one, I plugged it first into a Gretsch guitar, and then into a Martin acoustic. Both of them have passive pickups. I transmitted the signal directly into a Bose amplifier that I can trust to reveal any defect in the sound. With both guitars, the sound was clean and pure, and carried as much signal as a direct cable. The only design issue with these is the pencil-straight configuration. They stick straight out of the guitar, so you could potentially knock one into a mic stand or so. I think the rationale is that the design creates a sort of antenna that increases range, and I tend to believe it - I can move a long way from the receiver without any degradation of the signal. The only way I’ve had petter performance is with far more expensive systems involving a bulky transmitter clipped onto my guitar strap. Plus, In the two years I’ve used these “lollipops” we have never had the least bit of problem with this, so no deduction of stars.Bottom line, this is an excellent guitar wireless system at an economical price. Very highly recommended.
