I was very impressed with the quality of this product. Originally I had a Monroe and a Rancho steering stabilizer my 2010 F250 and once I took off down the road, I would have a shaking steering wheel and steering wheel be real loose the Bilstine seem to fix the issue almost immediately as I did gas charged, and the steering wheel feels real nice now it rides like a new truck I highly recommend this product getting off the old one was not any fun

I installed this on a 2008 f250 and immediately noticed a difference in stiffer steering. Install was very easy and you don't even need to lift the truck but you will need a pitman arm or tie rod puller or you will be hammering at the bolt all day.Took 15 minutes to replace.

This Bilstein steering stabilizer is of very high quality and looks great, very superior to the oem stabilizer. Take my advice and order a cheap “pickle fork” or ball joint separator tool when you order this stabilizer to help you remove the old stabilizer from the drag link, with this tool the entire job will only take you 30 minutes, without it, it may take you 3 hrs of trying to beat the thing out! I installed this on a 2016 F250 and it fit great. My truck has about 55K miles on it and the stock stabilizer was fairly worn out and no longer decompressed. After installing, the steering is tighter and no shutter when hitting rough spots in the road. I don’t think I would call it “night and day” but it is an improvement and looks great. You’ll need a 15 mm socket, an 18mm deep socket, and a pickle fork and decent sized hammer. Unit comes with necessary hardware (you will reuse the oem bolt on one end of the shock and supplied nut and washer for the other end).
