Once you've been able to connect them to the COB LED light strip (and that's not easy for a firm connection), if they flex during installation the circuit fails. Lights out. Even if you try to waterproof the connection, I'd hate to see if they last outside even on a misty night.The only solution is to buy the 65ft reel (or shorter if available) and chop off the bit you don't need and toss.

It was easy to cut and connect, works great.

I have couple led light strips, you could tell it all broke at the connection with plug. Maybe they were at outside over winter then the moisture get into it. After I replace with this plug, they light up again, so happy no need to buy a new one. The only problem is the width maybe differ a bit since they all come from different maker. But just trim a bit, it will work.
