I was looking for a better solution for hanging clothes in my oddly shaped closet, as a typical rod just doesn’t work well. This pull-out closet rod has been exactly what I needed! It’s surprisingly heavy and feels well-made, though I do wish the end caps weren’t plastic. I’m hopeful it will last a long time. The sliding mechanism works smoothly and holds a good amount of clothes without any issues. However, be aware that it arrives heavily greased, so use caution when handling it to avoid making a mess or staining your clothes. It’s also quite versatile—I’ve used it to hold purses, ties, and even in my laundry room to hang clothes while emptying the dryer. Installation was quick and easy with the included screws. The only downside is the price, which is higher than a standard rod, but the convenience and quality make it worth the investment.

This is a great way to make space in your closet which is something I'm sure we all could use more of!!! I recommend this -- it was easy to install using the directions that came with it! It seems pretty durable & sturdy- it can hold several pairs of jeans at once, a long with a few other things too. This is my honest opinion & I hope it helps someone! HAGD TODAY AND EVERYDAY AFTER AS WELL!!!

There are a lot of variations on these around and they all a bit more expensive than I would expect but these are quite a bit heavier than I expected and seem very well made. The main track is 3 metal sections that slide past each other, much like a drawer slide but double sided (so not a drawer slide). The track has a slow close mechanism which latches it close. My only concern is that the front piece that you pull on is plastic, I can't see how it's attached to the metal track, but hopefully it doesn't let go over time. I will update this if it does have problems....I liked this enough that I have ordered a second one.

I ordered this 15.4 inch closet valet to replace a closet bar that is always in the way and makes it hard to hang longer clothes around it. The valet is metal and well-constructed. I removed a star because the sticky pads in the installation video weren’t in the package and this is going to make it interesting to install. If they had been, I would have rated the quality and price 4 stars for above average.Also, wear rubber gloves when you install the valet since the slide is very oiled and once installed, you might want to give the whole thing a wipe down. You don’t want it all over you or the clothes you are hanging on it. FYI.
