If I had the talent I'd do a stop-motion video showing my battery moving into this new home - like a hermit crab switching shells. But I'm not that good so just imagine it yourself. :-)A larger battery is great for my Arlo that's in a little more out of the way place. I can't really use a solar panel there so being able to swap batteries less frequently means less time on a ladder. That means fewer chances to die in a fall.So, it's not THAT much of a stretch so say this larger battery housing (may have) saved my life!

Habe es für den Eingangsbereich nachgerüstet, da 2 Familien jeden Tag ein und aus gehen......der normale Akku der mit 6 Monaten Laufzeit geworben wird, hält bei uns max 3 Wochen und dann muss ich auf die Leiter. Leider lädt das Solarpanel über die Wintermonate nicht, durch den grossen XL Akku muss ich jetzt nicht mehr nachladen bzw akku wechseln....vielen dank

This is an ideal solution when you can not power your device with AC or Solar panel. I use all three options. There are places where external power is not possible and that is where this product is great. Its rated to last 2.5 longer so with low usage you should get 6 to 9 months. Less number of times need to recharge.
