Funciona de forma correcta en Windows, en Linux necesita drivers especiales pero fuera de eso funciona correctamente

This product has the really "cool" feature of being garbage out of the package. It's a 40$ board that is absolutely incompetent at its only job, exposing UVC controls for the camera. None of the UVC controls work, it overexposes everything to the point of being completely unusable and half the rated resolutions don't even work. I was using my raspberry pi branded HQ camera with a 5$ raspberry pi zero and some open source software called showmewebcam beforehand and it completely thrashes this board for 8x less money. The best part is that all the UVC controls work with this method. FOR 5$ DOLLARS!!! Now you are limited to 1080p 30fps which is why I originally bought this as an upgrade, but ask yourself if you want 30 great-looking frames or 60 completely unusable ones per second. Guess I am sticking with the raspberry pi instead.I can't believe that Arducam markets itself as "a professional designer and manufacturer of SPI, MIPI, DVP and USB cameras" as they seem to be completely incompetent when it comes to USB cameras. Why does this board cost 40$ in the first place? From looking at the board there can't be more than 5-10$ of components on it and at a 15$ price point I would be willing to forgive some of the issues but the fact that it costs so much, and none of the advertised features work is absolutely astounding. Yes, I tried all the troubleshooting steps, different computers, different cables, software updates, drivers, everything. Just don't buy this and support a company that clearly can't be bothered to make a solid product for this category.

This adapter board is very useful for the purpose it was made for. It adapts CSI sensor modules to USB 2.But my problems with it mainly come from some characteristics that feel like an oversight. You can do 720p @ 100 fps, but that's all for 720p. You can't run it at lower frame rate, let's say 720p @ 30 fps.Running high frame rate is not always good because it gives the sensor less time per frame to capture the light, and as a result, the higher the frame rate is, the darker the image gets. There are some settings to change the exposure time, but they are best left at auto, because manual adjustment still isn't perfect, and ends up with choppy frame rate. Many applications default to 720p when using a webcam, and always end up with dark image as a result. This might be possible to fix with a firmware update, should Arducam supply one.Other than, it would be nice to see a USB 3 version of this product that does YUV uncompressed video.UPDATE: there is a newer version of the camera firmware available on Arducam forums that fixes this fps issue. After the update, I change my review to 5 stars.
