Used this to replace the oem Porter Cable 1/4” router collet. The original broke. This replacement fits well, and holds the bits securely. Looks more robust than the original.Only problem is the nut for securing the bit is just larger than the standard 1 1/8” nuts.I solved that issue by replacing the nut with the nut that was on my original collet. Works great now.

This does not work with porter cable router wrenches. Amana.....how do you screw that up?
