This ALTHY Faucet Mount Water Filtration System is a solid choice. It’s easy to install and the filter does a great job reducing chlorine, heavy metals, and bad taste. I’ve noticed a real difference in the taste of my tap water. The design is a nice too, and it lasts for 400 gallons, which is great value.

So, this faucet filter looks nice and works well. It was easy enough to install and had some parts that I assume were to adjust to a variety of sink taps.I do taste the difference and that’s a good thing.I did take off a star because I realized a little too late that I don’t actually know where to get replacements filters. It’s not clear which ones exactly will fit and the “storefront” itself doesn’t even seem to sell them. Fortunately, it comes with 4, so idk perhaps I will never need one before it breaks. Also, I think comparatively, the price point is a little higher than comparable units with easy to find replacement filters.

I got this because I live in an apt bldg and the water is a bit shady.I love the way the system looksIt comes with many different options for your faucetI couldn't take the piece off my faucet to get this on.I did try it out at my sister's house and it was perfect.Water was great and I like how smoothly it worksIt''' be great for my new home

I have well water, and it's got iron in it. Using this filter, the taste of iron is gone. Coffee I make with it tastes a little different. I've grown over the years to like the taste of the iron in my water, but it's better for my espresso machine to take it out, and so I put this on one of our faucets.Installation was straightforward. I have a faucet with internal threads, and one of the adapters fit exactly. There are two adapters for internal and two for external threads, which they say fit almost all faucets. There's also a more complicated set of things to go onto threadless faucets. I didn't have to use this and can't comment on how well it works, but a lot of effort and lines in the instructions went into it, so it's there if that's your use case.In addition to the provided washer, I put in some food-safe grease to the fittings. Can't hurt. it's how I do my plumbing connections normally.Once installed, the lever turns it on or completely off, and there's a good flow rate through the filter when it's on. It seemed to fill the water tank of my espresso machine about as fast as without the filter, so little to no restriction to a normal tap with 2-3 bars of water pressure.Comes with several more cartridges, which I stored under the sink. Replacing cartridges is easy.

I am very pleased with this water filtration system. To start, I find assembling anything to be difficult, but was happy to find that this setup was easy and straightforward. It makes a noticeable difference in the taste of my water, which is a huge plus. The set comes with 4 filters, which is great. But there isn't any clear guidance on what type of filters you will need when it is time to buy more, or where to buy them.
