Seems to be a decently shielded riser if you need to run this to a card that can't quite fit where you want it to be, particularly useful for like an itx build in most cases. Of course, you'll still need to check measurements when putting this in a case and a card in.

So, I've been working with this M.2 to PCIe adapter, and it's an interesting piece of hardware if you know what you're getting into.The build quality is actually pretty good. The cable feels sturdy, and the connectors are well made. The SATA power extension is a nice touch for providing enough power to the GPU.Installation requires some patience and technical knowledge. You really need to make sure you're lining everything up correctly, and you might need to reinstall drivers to get everything working properly.I appreciate that they included the power cable, but you'll want to double check your power supply can handle whatever card you're planning to use. The 75W SATA power is fine for lower-end cards, but anything substantial will need additional power connections.The PCIe 4.0 support is nice, though you'll need to make sure your whole system supports it to get those speeds. My setup is running at 3.0 speeds, but that's still plenty for what I'm doing.Overall, this is a good solution if you specifically need to convert an M.2 slot to PCIe, but be prepared to do some troubleshooting. Not really a plug-and-play solution, but it gets the job done if you're comfortable with computer hardware.

I used this to connect a proprietary IO card to a mini PC. My application is basically robotics. Using this cable made it possible to get the system to run on a much smaller PC. Enjoy.

The pen is nice to write with and to hold! It came with a string to attach it to my laptop. It is magnetic, but the magnetic isn't strong so I use the string as well to make sure it doesn't get lost. I haven't figured out how to program the two buttons... I am satisfied!

Honestly I did not expect this to work, but after wiring up, and adding power this adapter actually connected a 10Gbe NIC to a the pcie M.2 slot on a SFF HP pro 600 desktop. Crazy! Linked and operated at 10G! With some clever 3d printed case standoffs, this will make for an excellent low power (tiny) server. Well done Glotrends!....

Using this m.2 to PCIe extender inside a 2u server chassis is nearly impossible, dependent on the position of your m.2 slot. It does not flex well and it is also not the most reassuring cable. Just be aware of those limitations if you're in need of something like this.
