These sleeves are top notch. Thick and crystal clear. I had been buying the Record Collector brand for many years until they were out of stock for the last few weeks. Switched to these and now I will never go back!

My last two packs of outer sleeves had some major quality control issues. They tore on the sides way to easy and about 70% of them already had a split in the lower left corner. When I first started purchasing this brand years ago, they were a lot better quality then. Hopefully they can get back to that quality. If they could, they are the best outer sleeve I have ever used.

These sleeves are sturdy and clear and none of them split. The size works great for single and double LPs.

Hear me out... before you say:"Yeah, but I don't want resealable sleeves with reusable adhesive strips on the sleeve"... I used to think exactly the same way, but you should first consider this:Do you want to be able to EASILY READ the side of your album jackets inside the sleeve? Then, I have news for you: resealable sleeves are your ONLY option, and I will tell you why.First, some basic educational review about sleeves...I have tried all three types of "POLY" sleeves manufactured today:- The soft but slightly milky-hazy-frosty Polyethylene,- The more rigid-stiff and much less hazy, fairly clear "Cast Polypropylene"- The most rigid-stiff and glass-like crystal clear "BOPP" - Biaxially Oriented PolypropyleneIn all cases, it is universally true that the thicker the sleeve, the less wrinkling you will experience.Thickness is measured in "MIL" which is THOUSANDTHS of an INCH,and not to be confused with "MM" or "Millimeters" which is TENTHS of a CENTIMETER.(One Inch = 2.54 Centimeters... though that fact is unlikely to ease the confusion). However a 2.5 mil BOPP sleeve (like these I am reviewing) has no wrinkling at all because it is crisp / stiff / rigid...while a super thick 4.0 mil Polyethylene sleeve may have minimal wrinkling simply because Polyethylene is by its nature so soft. But now, back to my point ...Why do you need a resealable flap to be able to clearly read the print on the very thin spine side of your album jackets?Because almost every sleeve on the market today has a sharp crease on every side except the open side. This sharp crease hinders your ability to read the spine of your album jacket.I only found one brand that had almost no discernable crease, but because it was an open sleeve with no resealable flap, the albums would tend to pull away from the sleeve ... even if by just a tiny fraction of a millimeter... and that would make it harder to read the text on the spine. Infuriating! But I found the answer...Buy these crystal clear "BOPP" resealable flap sleeves, and insert your albums with the OPEN end of the album jacket(the end the vinyl record album slides out of)going into the sleeve first...then pull the resealable flap TIGHTLY over theopposite end of the album jacket...you can read the spines because there is NO CREASE on the flap end,and the flap end holds the album jacket so TIGHTLY that it cannot slide away from the sleeve at all.To put this another way: I am saying, have the spine side with the text you want to read facing the OPEN end of the sleeve where the resealable flap is located... then tightly seal the resealable flap over the narrow spine side that you wish to be able to read.No crease... just a smooth crystal clear flap pulled around the spine, which also holds the album jacket super-tight against the inside of the BOPP sleeve. It looks like your album jackets were laminated in tight glossy plastic, as you look at your collection from the spine side as they sit on your shelf. Zero hinderance to reading the text on your album jacket spines. No creases, no lines, no haze, and no slight pull-away that might refract light... you can read that album jacket spine just as if it had no sleeve on it at all! This is the only technique I have found that works in a perfect and no-compromise manner for the discriminating collector who demands ease of reading his album jackets with no visual hinderance whatsoever. And if you are still uneasy about the resealable feature... don't be.It is not a messy glue... it does not come off on your fingers or on anything else... it is just like a "Post It Note"... almost magically sticking and releasing over and over over again with no mess. Again, if you do not have this resealable flap, you cannot get that TIGHT holding of your album's spine up against the inside of the sleeve to ensure a crystal clear readability of the album jacket spines.

UPDATE - 12/20/21I had thought I had found my new sleeves but now need to change this review. These are not as great as I first thought. The first two bags I purchased were pretty good so I order more bags for later usage. I have 4 bags right now and have now opened 2 of them trying to bag a Best of Kiss LP I purchased from Best Buy. I have gone through 10 sleeves, 5 from each bag trying to bag this record. It either splits from the top (side) immediately or as your are slidding it into the bag. Even the smallest amount of force on the side splits the side of the bag. Very Annoyed. I even took one bag out and just slightly pulled on it and the sides immediately split. I have obviously gotten a bad batch. Moving on to bags 3 and 4 to see if I will end up having the throw away 400 sleeves. Its been a few months since I ordered these so I am sure I will have no recourse and will just be out the money.Update 11/1/22 - Have been through all the bags, they easily split from the sides and another very annoying feature is the huge amount of static. Every time you remove the strip over the adhesive, getting that strip off your fingers into the garbage is a pain. I have an anti static gun for my records and have found myself occassionally using it as I bag records. I will go back to buying my sleeves from clearbags.Original Review -I have been using clear bag sleeves because I like the flaps. I like to try and limit the smell from some of the older vinyl. Only problem with the clear bag sleeves is they are only 1 mil. They have thicker but when you get those they also increase the size which leaves you with the bag about a 1/4 inch above the top of the record. These are 2.5 mil and fit single Records perfectly. They are also just as clear as the Clear Bag sleeves.I will be using these from this point forward. I will keep some of the thicker larger clear bag sleeves for double LP and the 4 mil i have for more expensive LPs
