Have tried most other climbing tape out there. So far I haven’t found one that sticks as well as this one. You don’t always know ahead of time when you are going to have to tape I have the best results when applying after washing my hands and letting them fully dry. That being said it still sticks well either way.

This tape can be hard to find unless you are at a real climbing store...which are few and far between. It's so much stickier than even Metolius tape. If you are in doubt when buying this tape, look for the words *platinum*, and the black printing and illustration of a wrapped ankle on the inside of the roll. This tape is so sticky I leave it on my hands for several days when on a long crack climbing trip. I mean, I could take it off every day...but it's painful to remove...and why waste a good tape job? Tape is always better than commercial tape gloves. It's more precise while also being lower profile. I have huge XL sized hands, so I need to be as thin as possible for getting into red #1 sized cracks.

I have tried quite a few different tapes for bouldering inside and outside and they would ALL sweat off. I am a very heavy sweater when climbing but Mueller euro tape stays on my wrists and fingers for a whole day of climbing unless it tears on a hold. It is a little tough to tear but I just use my teeth or a knife and it works great for being split in half to wrap fingers. Sadly though Amazon is now more expensive then most other online retailers.
