I ordered a blue one for my grandson for Christmas. He received a pink one. Fortunately, he thinks the neon color will make it easier to see if he drops it into the water.

This looks to be an awesome rod and reel with the bonus of the super cute bracelets. However I absolutely should have heeded the other reviews that tell you that you will not get the item pictured. The rod is gorgeous and comes as pictured, but the reel is different. You get the open reel that is really only appropriate for someone who has had a lot more practice. PLEASE learn from my Christmas mess up and do not order this for a younger kid who will likely not be able to use it. Will be returning and purchasing from another seller.

YOU ARE NOT GETTING THE REEL PICTURED! We have ordered this item now twice, and both times, it has NOT be the reel pictured, and will NOT work for our 4 year old as we wanted it to. It's been crushing for little man to have had to give back his brand new pole that was supposed to be for Christmas twice now.
