The sweater was sewn incorrectly. If it was sewn this way on purpose then it’s just plain ugly. If you look at the front, back and sleeve seams they are sewn inside out. Either the sweater was sewn incorrectly OR the sweater is just ugly. Either way, one of the worse purchases from Amazon!

This sweater is actually quite nice - until you look at the shoulder and arm seams. I saw in the pictures online that the were on the outside, but in the photos they didn't look that bad and I just assumed they were well finished or rolled like piping. They aren't, they are just raw, serged seams that look like you are wearing the sweater inside out. Weird thing is, the inside seams are nicely finished. Go figure.Other than that, it's a well made, tightly knit but lightweight cardigan with a preppy vibe that would look good on its own or as a layering piece. The navy one I ordered is the same color as the picture, a beautiful true navy blue. It runs true to size and is a bit boxy, but as an apple shaped lady, I appreciate that slightly roomier fit around the belly. The length is good also. It hits right at the bottom of my hip (I'm 5'6"). I washed and tumble dried it and there was no fading, pilling or shrinking.I sew, so I'm going to try to do something to make those seams look better because I really do like the cardigan otherwise.If those seams had been decently finished, this would have gotten an easy five stars from me. But I can't give it more than three because those exposed raw seams make it look cheap, like something out of the factory seconds bin at an outlet store.

For reference I am 5'2" and 200 lbs, and wear a 42D bra. I ordered this is XL and you see that it fits me well both buttoned and unbuttoned. I also like that it is not too long. The knit is lightweight and will be great to throw over shirts in the fall and spring. I realized it had the seams on the outside of the sweater, for a casual look, but once I got it I realized I did not like "the look" and would have preferred the smooth seams on the outside of the sweater, not the inside. That is just a personal preference, just like I wish it had pockets on the outside. The sleeves were a little long but if you cuff they fit well. Overall this is a nice sweater.

It’s a beautiful sweater but it was sewn inside out in some areas.
